I recently took a trip to my local plant nursery. There I found a large dracaena plant. As soon as I spotted it, I knew it had to come home with me. I will admit, fitting it into my car was a bit of a challenge. Can any other plant parents relate?
Once home, I spent a good while rearranging my living room to find just the right spot for this new plant baby.
Needless to say, this plant and the process of finding just the right place for it in my house were the inspiration for this month's Modern Boho Pattern Club design.
So have fun stitching this whimsical plant piece!
Pattern Club makes it easy to get started with embroidery. Every month you can receive a digital pattern that'll help you get started. The pattern includes a beginner-friendly guide that'll walk you through everything! From placing fabric in the hoop to splitting thread, making knots, transferring the pattern, and all the stitches. There's plenty of photos and descriptions to offer step-by-step resources along the way.
The Modern Boho pattern includes six beginner friendly stitches: the satin stitch, stem stitch, long & short satin stitch, split back stitch, chain stitch, and straight stitch.
Now, you might be wondering, do I actually own this wall hanging too? Sadly, no. This part is purely made up. My plant lives by some lovely framed Toroweap art by Noelle Phares.
