February Workshops and Events

Updated: Feb 5, 2020

Did you know that February is National Embroidery month? What better way to celebrate than to take an embroidery workshop or see embroidered work in person?!

If you’re in the Seattle area, you can join me for in-person workshops. I have many options to choose from!

On February 9 from 3-5pm you can embroider your own piece of wearable fiber art in my Desert Landscape Pin Embroidery class at Workshop Issaquah. Wear a little embroidered vacation with you wherever you go! Most participants will finish their pin and be able to wear (or gift it) by the end of the class.

Will you be my Galentine? Join me on February 13 from 6-8:30pm to embroider a heart-shaped cactus in my evening workshop at Station 7. Grab a friend, or two, or three, and celebrate each other in this fun, hands-on workshop.

On February 20 from 6-9pm I'll be sharing my new Tropical Plants Embroidery Basics Workshop at Spacecraft Seattle. This three hour class features 7 different embroidery stitches and an easy design transfer method. All materials and light snacks will be provided for a relaxing evening of crafting fun. Whether you're an embroidery newbie or a stitching pro, you're sure to learn new stitches, techniques, and tips!

On February 23 from 11am-2pm you can join me for a Cactus Embroidery Basics Workshop at Wyldwood Creative. This hands-on, three hour embroidery basics workshop is a fun way to create your own cactus field embroidery while learning 9 different embroidery stitches and an easy design transfer method. All materials and light snacks are provided for a relaxing weekend craft time.

Mending is also back on February 27 from 6-9pm. We'll be adding new life to well loved pieces of clothing in my Mindful Mending Workshop at Spacecraft Seattle. Bring a piece of denim clothing you'd like to mend or work on patches in this hands-on class.

We've added a second embroidery pin class! On February 29 from 10am-1pm you can embroider your own piece of wearable fiber art in my Desert Landscape Pin Embroidery class at Workshop Issaquah. Wear a little embroidered vacation with you wherever you go! Most participants will finish their pin and be able to wear (or gift it) by the end of the class.

To see my embroidered work in person, stop by Sodo Flea Market on February 9! Or join me on February 22 at the Tacoma Night Market at the Museum of Glass.

If you're into embroidery (or want to get into it), and aren't in the Seattle area, you can still get stitchy with me!

With my monthly embroidery pattern program, you can receive an embroidery pattern in your inbox every month! For only $10 a month, you'll receive a digital embroidery pattern, detailed instructions (with photos), helpful tips, and tricks, and a full materials list to create a specially curated pattern. Each month's pattern will be a special surprise! Learn more about my pattern program and sign up to get stitching.

If you’re not into monthly subscriptions and still want to get your stitch on in the comfort of your own home. I offer full embroidery stitch kits, peel stitch and stitch patterns, and downloadable PDF patterns!
