The holidays are often filled with traditions. Some are passed down from parents to children and family to family while others are made. When my husband and I bought our first Christmas tree a few years ago (this wasn't until we bought a house, because small apartments do not equal size for a tree), I decided we should have a tradition of getting an ornament that represented something special from the year.
For our first year I found a house ornament on Etsy. Then on the second year we had a pet portrait ornament of our pup Henley, embroidered by the amazing Sara Barnes. For the third year... I dropped the ball and forgot to get an ornament made for our second pup Landen (he really is getting second child treatment :P), but thankfully Sara helped me out again and made one in time for last year.
What will this year's ornament be? I'm not quite sure yet.
